A thought for the week

From the Pastor's Desk...

What are you waiting on The Lord for? Health? Financial provision? Relationship breakthrough? Whatever it is, waiting can be hard. It can test even the most robust of faiths. But The Lord makes a promise in Isaiah that I want to encourage you to hold on to, in the midst of waiting, when it’s tough and testing - when you feel like you don’t know what the The Lord is doing. The promise is this: as you wait on The Lord, He will renew your strength. Let go, and Let God! I know it sounds cliché. But although I find it hard myself sometimes, I know that in the surrender, in the waiting, I find strength - because in waiting on The Lord, striving ceases and His provision abounds, in His perfect time.
